Hard Times Festival
The 1930’s are alive at the Hard Times Festival remembering the Great Depression and celebrating those who carried the town to better days. The streets of downtown Hartshorne are filled with newsboys, coal miners, farmers, and preachers talking about the days of old. Check out the antique cars and tractors, handmade crafts, quilt show, and mule drawn wagon rides. Get a taste of the Hard Times with the festival’s annual Poor Man’s Supper with beans and cornbread then cut a rug with local artists and guest performers. Take a step back in time to remember and appreciate where we have come from at the Hard Times Festival!
