Check out the 14 magnificent dioramas at the Forest Heritage Center painted by the one and only Harry Rossoll—creator of the legendary Smokey the Bear. Be sure and smile for the camera with Peter Toth’s Totem Pole just outside the center. It is one, in a series of 50 sculptures that commemorates the Trail of Tears. He sculpted at least one unique totem pole for each of the 50 states, plus some in Canada. It is the perfect photo op to commemorate your trip to Broken Bow!
The Beavers Bend Wildlife Museum and Beavers Bend State Park Nature Center are also exciting learning experience for the entire family.
